A charming little book and really useful for someone who thinks any old saw will do. Clearly written and illustrated. Highly recommended!

If only there was one on hammers.......

I found the book lacked content, did not cover any power cuting tools, most work shops now use a verity of these saws.

Good read for anyone working with hand tools. I learnt a lot even though I've been sawing stuff for years!

If you are working with hand saws, and multiple materials (being a robot builder I get through quite a few), this book gives the lowdown on finding the right kind of saw, and the considerations in using it effectively. It's too easy to grab the wrong saw, otr use it the wrong way, and spend a lot of time making a mess, where the right tool at the right time will work.
